Freight Delivery Overview

All TrueHeat Outdoors saunas are shipped via freight carrier and delivered curbside or to the end of your driveway. Once your order arrives at the local terminal, the freight company will contact you directly to schedule a delivery appointment.

What to Expect on Delivery Day

The freight carrier will call to schedule a delivery window that works for you. Most deliveries are completed using a standard freight truck, so please ensure your location is accessible.

Delivery is curbside only, meaning the carrier will deliver the sauna to the end of your driveway or closest accessible point. The driver is not responsible for bringing the sauna inside your home.

Golden Designs Saunas (Indoor Infrared Models)

Golden Designs saunas are designed for straightforward residential delivery and setup.

Saunas arrive in multiple flat-packed boxes, not a single oversized crate
Boxes are manageable and can typically be moved by 1–2 people
No forklift or heavy equipment required
Panels are modular and designed for easy transport into your home

This makes Golden Designs saunas ideal for indoor spaces such as basements, home gyms, or spare rooms.

Unloading & Placement

For most Golden Designs models, the freight carrier will lower the boxes to the ground using a liftgate when available. From there, you can move the boxes into your home at your convenience.
We recommend having an additional person available to help move and position the boxes, especially for larger 3–4 person models.

Damage Inspection

If your shipment arrives with visible damage, please accept the delivery, take clear photos, and note the damage on the delivery receipt or Bill of Lading before signing.

Please mark the paperwork as:

“Crate/boxes arrived damaged – possible hidden damage”

Then contact us immediately so we can assist with a resolution.

Installation

Golden Designs saunas are shipped as ready-to-assemble kits and are designed for simple, at-home assembly.

No special tools or professional installation required
Most customers complete assembly in 1–2 hours
Panels lock together easily for a streamlined setup

If preferred, you may hire a local handyman or contractor for assistance.

LeisureCraft Saunas (Outdoor Models)

LeisureCraft saunas are larger, handcrafted outdoor units and are delivered differently than indoor infrared models due to their size and weight.

Saunas ship on large pallets or as partially assembled units
Delivered via freight carrier with curbside delivery only
These units are significantly heavier and bulkier than indoor saunas

Unloading Requirements

Due to the size of LeisureCraft saunas, customers should plan ahead for unloading:

Forklift, tractor, or similar equipment may be required for larger models
Some customers choose to pick up from the local freight terminal using a trailer
Others may arrange a tilt tow truck or equipment service for delivery assistance

Liftgate service is typically not available for oversized shipments.

We recommend reviewing your delivery location and planning the best unloading method prior to shipment.

Placement Considerations

LeisureCraft saunas are typically placed in outdoor settings such as backyards, patios, or cabins.

Customers are responsible for:

Moving the sauna from the delivery point to its final location
Ensuring proper access to the installation area
Preparing a suitable base (concrete pad, deck, or level ground)

Installation

LeisureCraft saunas are shipped as ready-to-assemble kits or partially assembled units, depending on the model.

Assembly may take several hours depending on the size
Two or more people are typically recommended
Some customers choose to hire a contractor or installation professional

Detailed instructions are included, and most builds are straightforward with basic tools.
